Black by Kenneth Cole Review
Description
Despite the name, Black by Kenneth Cole is far from dark. Instead, it is fresh and spicy more than anything, and is a subtle surprise waiting to happen from the bottle. The citrusy opening is anything but offensive, and the emerging nutmeg, incense and cedar later on give the scent some depth and mystery. The hint of sweetness makes this a scent that could appeal to both men and women, despite the existence of a Black counterpart for the ladies. It is a shame that it has weak sillage even though it can be worn all year round.

Black for Men by Kenneth Cole is a trip back to the not so long ago naughts. Released in 2003, it was brought together by the duo of Sabine De Tscharner and Harry Fremont. The woody, citrusy scent is a product of the following ingredients: mandarin orange, water mint, ginger and basil for the top notes; nutmeg, exotic woods, incense, lotus and cedar for the middle notes; and amber, suede, violet leaf and musk for the base notes.
