Thallium by Yves De Sistelle Review
Someone looking to impress may not browse cheapies, but that would be a shame because it means missing out on Thallium. It is not exceptional by any means, but for the price, we find the sillage and the wear time to be impressive. The sweet opening caused by pineapple and bergamot, as well as the synthetic whiff, may turn off some noses, but this dissipates to become minty, making it more tolerable. If you’re looking for an overly macho scent, however, this is not it—the sugary impression on us is also something women would not hesitate to wear.

Has the potential to be a shared fragrance
Very affordable compared to identical EDTs
Performs great for the price
Warmth makes it ideal for winter, although not so much for summer
The opening to us feels more sugary than what’s tolerable
We find this cloying, especially when applied a tad too much
Save Big At:

Information on Thallium, or Yves de Sistelle for that matter, is scant. Thankfully, how this cheapie made other people feel isn’t, and you would know that this is bound to give you some nods even if you are strapped for cash. The fresh, slightly synthetic smell are caused by pineapple and bergamot, which serve as its top notes; apple, lavender and jasmine that are at its heart; and cedar, patchouli, musk and amber that form the base. It is currently being sold by Societe Parisienne de Parfums et Cosmétiques (SPPC).
