As far as blush palettes go, the Blush Trio from Anastasia Beverly Hills is actually quite solid. As the name implies, each colorway features three lovely shades encased in ABH’s signature sleek black packaging. This product definitely makes for a great blush-wearing experience.
The first thing we have to commend about this product is the packaging. It feels sturdy and durable without being bulky or heavy, making it a fantastic travel companion. As a palette, this product also affords the wearer some variety—whether you opt to use the colors individually or mixed to perfection. In terms of the actual blushes, the strength of the pigmentation is a key factor in the product’s success. Generally, the colors of these blushes look absolutely gorgeous when applied. We’re also happy about the product’s great level of blendability, which enables a degree of control over the product before it sets. Finally, wear time is not an issue with this product, which makes it, for the most part, low-maintenance throughout the day.
There are just a few things to look out for when putting on or wearing this product. First, if you’re used to going into blush with a heavier hand, you’ll have to be careful with this product because it may end up looking much more intense than you’d want (or expect). Second, this product isn’t particularly resistant to extreme environmental conditions so maybe do a cursory check on it once in a while to make sure it isn’t looking blotchy.
