For many designers, pre-seasons are all about giving women the perfect wardrobe for their luxury travels. And for Pre-Fall 2019, that’s what designer Joseph Altuzarra is offering his faithful clientele. Influenced by his own trip to North Africa after showing Paris, Altuzarra created look upon look that urban sophisticates will find suitable for their own gallivanting across the world. Yet, at the same time, these are pieces that they can still wear climbing up the corporate ladder in the city as well. Take the first look, for instance, which is made up of a camel coat, a ruched white cotton top, and black leather pants. This is a first-class safari outfit influenced by the style set forth by Yves Saint Laurent in the 70s. The look is perfect for exploring the Amazon jungle in, but at the same time, it also makes for a great ensemble to wear in an office. The dresses, on the other hand, evoke an exotic and bohemian spirit that, while well within Altuzarra’s city-slick aesthetic, are more fitted for an evening gala in the Middle East. Wherever the Altuzarra woman decides to wear these clothes, only one thing is certain: she’ll look divine in them!
