Air Jordan 13 Retro ‘Cap and Gown’ Review
Graduations mark the peak of students’ lives in school, and the Jordan Brand joins the celebrations with the the right shoe on hand: the Air Jordan 13 Retro 'Cap and Gown'. Designed to look luxuriously impeccable with a graduate’s robe and mortarboard, the shoe features a triple black take on the on the suede and patent upper, complete with a translucent outsole and a lacing system to match it. We reckon the replacement of the signature hologram emblem was a move to stick to the all-blacked out design, but we think it looks perfect with this particular colorway, keeping up the tonal and refined theme in check.

The Air Jordan 13 Retro ‘Cap and Gown’ continues the all-black colorway debuted in 2018 on the Air Jordan 11, but now donning another popular silhouette to prove its compelling style. Featuring a black suede upper, the shoe is completed with a black patent leather that sits atop, plus an all black midsole contrasted by the light translucent outsole. Tassel-inspired laces, for us, wraps the design up fashionably, together with the debossed metal logo embellishment combining the Jumpman logo and the iconic number ‘23’.
