When it comes to sportswear, there’s no one quite like Alexander Wang. He practically pioneered the emergence of sportswear and streetwear into high fashion, leading to the unstoppable trends right now. It’s only natural that various brands have come to collaborate with the designer to further both their upscale and sportswear appeals. In recent years, one of Wang’s most memorable collaborations was with German label Adidas to create the AW Bball Sneakers.

Pros
Alexander Wang is known for his deconstruction and he incorporated it on these sneakers. The new AW Bball sneakers are like your ordinary basketball shoes turned inside-out, particularly with how the laces envelop the foot. The interplay of various materials, such as the premium leather upper and the strips of elastic bands, make for a harmoniously elegant look. Moreover, the boost cushioning ups the comfort level tenfold.
Cons
Despite its name, the AW Bball shoes aren’t exactly the best pair to wear to play the sport. They look good, but it’s unsure whether they’ll feel good nor are they durable enough for basketball. Especially since the unusual lacing makes them seem easily breakable and can possibly lead to accidents on the court.
