The Valentino Rockstud Sneakers in white are a nod to the currently fashionable but essentially very basic white sneakers. A single look is all it takes to know that these are far from your ordinary kicks. The Rockstuds which are now staples to most Valentino pieces serve as accents to the shoes. They also read “11 Untitled” on the tongue, which corresponds to the number of Valentino garbs and accessories included in the capsule.
Pros
White looks good with almost anything, but Valentino takes these sneakers a level higher by pairing it with gold, resulting in a very luxurious spin on your classic white sneakers. The studs come in both gold and white, the latter’s inclusion leading to a more balanced appearance. Nothing can prevent the gold ones from glistening when reflecting light though, so you’ll stand out with them on even when you’re not trying too hard. The fashion house makes no compromise on comfort, too. The shoes are adequately cushioned to make each step pleasurable, and the materials appear premium, as one would expect from Valentino.
Cons
These Valentino Rockstud sneakers are expensive, as is expected with the name that goes with it, and are even pricier than the popular Gucci Aces, another white sneaker with luxurious origins. The pyramid studs also require more thought in mix and matching, but it is not a complete deal breaker as the white color balances it out.
