Proraso Pre-Shave Cream Review
Shaving requires a lot of lubrication to prevent any ingrown hairs or irritation but unfortunately, washing your face rids your skin of its natural slickness. Proraso Pre-Shave Cream helps restore your skin’s moisture and provides a protective barrier against your morning shave. It also relaxes and softens your beard, so applying this this in before your usual shaving soap or cream enables the razor to glide across your face and leave you with a close shave. This product works best when you’ve just stepped out of a warm shower but if you haven’t, placing a warm towel on your face after application can help open up your pores for a cleaner shave. However, the thick cream’s menthol scent has mixed reviews. Many enjoy it and find it revitalizing whilst others are bothered and say it’s reminiscent of an old man. There are also those who have found it to be too pungent and that it caused their eyes to sting, which is why only using a small amount each time is vital. When used properly, 3.6 ounce jar can last you months.
