Obsession for Men by Calvin Klein Review
Description
Obsession for Men is a throwback for many who lived through the 1980s. It came as a breath of fresh air from the strong and cloying masculine scents of the decade, and was preferred by men whose idea of masculine is subtle and much more like the barbershop scents of yore. It is spicy, but not overly so, just the right amount of sweet, clean and fresh, especially during the drydown. It is a well-blended combination of notes that will earn you compliments from the ladies.

Obsession for Men by Calvin Klein remains an indisputable favorite from the American designer’s roster of masculine fragrances, although one that appeals more to the older generation of men who preferred subtle scents over the oozing masculinity of the 1980s. It was created in 1987, a year after Obsession for women, and was contained in a perfume bottle designed by Pierre Dinand. The FiFi awardee was concocted by Bob Slattery, who combined citrusy notes with sharp florals, and then balanced it with warmth provided by sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver, amber and musk.
