Nike Air Force 1 ’07 LV8 ‘Overbranding’ Review
When luxury fashion finds its inspiration from the urban and street culture, one of the results is definitely more prominent logo replacements that have consumers flaunting not only their style but also the brands they love. So, we guess the Air Force 1 '07 LV8 'Overbranding' is just following the trend. Featuring white synthetic and leather upper, ventilated toe box, and rubber outsole, the defining design of these kicks are definitely the multiple Swooshes on both side panels and Nike branding on the sole and heel tab. Because why not, right? We think Nike has done the overbranding tastefully. How about you?
Value for Money
High quality design
Comfortable and durable architecture
Good ankle support
True to size
Can be chunky for some
The smaller Swoosh on the outer side panel is kind of overboard
Release date: October 9, 2018
Is there such a thing is overbranding? Social media has been instrumental in elevating street culture that had luxury brands catching some of its elements—glitzy display of brand logos was one. The Air Force 1 ’07 LV8 ‘Overbranding’, made from a white leather upper and a rubber sole is smacked with multiple Swooshes and Nike branding that are sophisticatedly done as accents to an all-white colorway.
