Naeem Khan just gave a collection that modern brides will surely go gaga over! For spring 2019, beyond the traditional ball gown silhouettes and serpentine trains, the New York-based designer brought forth what he refers to as potential wedding ensembles for “a rock-star bride.” The title was more than apt, as this bride wore lace jumpsuits with detachable tulle skirts, fringed mini-dresses in silver and gold, and even a fully-beaded and embroidered tracksuit. Khan took every element of a party girl’s wardrobe and gave them the bridal treatment, which meant constructing them in lace, gilding them in satin and silk, and of course, a lot of embellishments. These weren’t your everyday bridal looks, which just goes to show that Naeem Khan is not your everyday designer.
