Grigioperla Essence by La Perla Review
You can’t expect to find something game-changing in the Grigioperla Essence, but you’d be right to expect a well-made scent. We were surprised that even with its price point and understated flacon, it hits just the right spot. It is not as zesty as other similar scents as it is more green and soapy. If you want to feel clean and refined without trying too hard, then trust us when we say that this is among the good ones.

We think it is refined, clean and very pleasant despite the sharp notes
Soapy, but the good kind, and green
The vetiver gives the scent an interesting smoky quality
Not that unique of a scent
Some parts feel synthetic, which is not unusual for its profile
Save Big At:

La Perla introduced Grigioperla Essence in 2009, contained in a vintage-looking flacon designed by Open Mind. It was marketed as a woody aromatic scent for use by men. Designed by Pierre Bourdon, it features a myriad of accords. Some of these include cypress, bergamot, pink pepper, lavender, jasmine, magnolia, cedar, oakmoss, pine tree, vetiver and thuja.
