Colonia Leather by Acqua di Parma Review
Description
Often compared to Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather is Acqua di Parma’s Colonia Leather, although in some ways, it is better. The latter is lighter and less offensive to the nose, even if it comes on thick with the leather. There are hints of citrus here and there, as well as smoke which subsides by the drydown. It’s rich and deeply masculine, no doubt, but it can be categorized as an acquired taste.

Colonia Leather by Acqua di Parma may not be as original as it wants to be, what with the abundance of scents trying to emulate Tuscan Leather, but it can be ranked higher than its contemporaries for its balance and quality. The aromatic leather that is similar to a new pair of shoes is complemented by notes of Sicilian lemon, Brazilian orange, raspberry, rose, honeysuckle, red thyme, cedar and gaiac wood.
