Colonia Intensa by Acqua di Parma Review
Description
You should not go into smelling the Colonia Intensa with Acqua di Parma’s Colonia in mind as the latter’s distinct quality is not matched by the Intensa. What you’re sure to find here though is a more masculine scent that feels equally sophisticated, due in part to the natural ingredients and top quality leather. The woodsy drydown is pleasant as well as earthy, although it’s a shame that it fades into something intimate afterwards for us.

Colonia Intensa is not intended to be a more intense version of Acqua di Parma Colonia, although it is completely understandable for you to jump to that conclusion. Still, it is masculine and classy, owing to its top notes of citrus, ginger, bergamot and cardamom; its heart notes of artemisia, neroli, guaiac wood, myrtle and cedar; and its base notes of musk, leather, benzoin and patchouli. Released in 2007, it was made available in both 50 ml and 100 ml flacons. Francois Demachy and Alberto Morillas have partnered to create the fragrance.
