Who says basics can’t be fashionable? It’s practically what women want and are confident to wear. There’s no shame in trotting out signature staples that customers are sure to love, which is why Jeffrey Rüdes seems confident in having designed L’Agence Pre-Fall 2019 Collection. This season, it’s all about redefining what women love about the brand: soft tailoring, shimmering silks, and a whole lot of denim. These looks are fundamentally relaxed and it’s within their sense of nonchalance that give them their retail edge. Women, of all ages, are bound to gaga over the business-ready pieces that have enough sophistication within them to be worn into an elegant evening affair as well. While a few animal-printed numbers, most of which are of the draped and slip-on varieties, contribute an old school type of glamour that will simply enchant and transfix. Although these aren’t necessarily groundbreaking fashions, they’re what women want to wear. And at the end of the day, that’s what matters in this big business game people call “fashion.”
