Revamping the original Air Max 97, Virgil Abloh introduces a lighter and more seamless design compared to its predecessor that’s full of harsh lines and color divisions. Featuring an almost transparent, two-tone light grey, the OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Max 97 boasts a noticeable tri-colored Swoosh logo and “AIR” branding on the lateral sides, plus the OFF-WHITE text branding on the inner, medial side. The all-time favorite Air Max silhouette and rubber soles complete this beautiful conception.

It makes total sense when the OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Max 97 ‘Menta’ created a buzz when it was teased in Paris during the OFF-WHITE Spring/Summer 2019 show last June. In true Virgil Abloh style, the collaboration gives off a deconstructed feel matched with a futuristic vibe. Elevating the greyish translucent colorway is the ‘Menta’ Swoosh on the lateral panels.
