Pros
With only a needle and some yarn, Rifle Paper Co. was able to liven up the classic Keds Triple Decker Slip-On shoe with floral embroidery that harkens back to simpler and more innocent times. The modest design is its most endearing feature, capturing a nostalgia that will have people treasuring the pair for years to come. It’s an equal mix of Keds’ simplistic approach to shoe craftsmanship and Rifle Paper Co’s outlandish floral designs. And with the cushioned outsole and narrow fit, it’s also one the season’s most comfortable new footwear.
Cons
The shoe is made up of canvas, a material that Keds has built their shoe empire on. While comfortable and beautiful, the canvas is not that strong of a material. One’s feet are left vulnerable to any type of weather, particularly that of the wet variety. Considering that the pair is also mostly stark white, it leaves a lot of space for dirt to be more evident than ever. This makes the shoe difficult to maintain, especially since they can only be washed through air dry only.
