Gucci by Gucci Sport is everything you would expect a sport scent to be. It is clean and subtle, essentially a safe fragrance, that opens with citrus and a menthol-like smell. There is an emphasis on its woodsy notes by its closing, but it does not last long enough to be enjoyed more on the skin. It’s not bad, but it’s not innovative either, which one would think should come with its price point.

Gucci by Gucci Sport is meant to accompany a lifestyle filled with sports, or at least that is what Gucci says. The relaxed atmosphere it makes possible is through a composition made up of mandarin, grapefruit and cypress in the opening, blending later on with cardamom, fig zest and juniper berries, and closing with patchouli, ambrette seed and vetiver. Unlike most sports scents, Gucci by Gucci Sport is stylish in its clear bottle that shows the green liquid within. It was introduced in 2010 and sold initially in 50 and 90 ml.
