Colonia Assoluta by Acqua di Parma Review
Colonia Assoluta is an elevated summer scent that both men and women can elect to wear. To us, this has an appeal of an old school scent, but still is easy to wear for most occasions. The citrusy opening can surprise because of its intensity, but later on it develops to a gentler, even powdery mix of flowers and woods. We especially love the warm, woodsy drydown. Thankfully, the scent has above average wear time, allowing us to appreciate the phase longer.

Smells fresh and refined
Easy to wear on most instances, but most particularly during the opening
Has above average longevity and decent sillage
The woodsy drydown is beautiful
The citrusy opening can be quite intense
We think it smells a little old school, which would not appeal to everyone
Save Big At:

Colonia Assoluta is a shared fragrance that has a citrusy and aromatic profile. It was officially launched by Acqua di Parma in 2003, and signed by two perfumers: Jean-Claude Ellena and Bertrand Duchaufour. The top notes are mostly zesty, such as bergamot, sweet orange, bitter orange and lemon verbena. The middle notes are listed as vetiver, ylang ylang, jasmine, pink pepper, paprika, cedar and cardamom, while the base notes are oakmoss, patchouli, white musk and resins.
