You may know her from being one of her 1.8 million subscribers on YouTube, or because you got a glimpse of her on backstage features of Proenza Schouler and Sonia Rykiel runways, or even heard that she was named Lancôme’s Global Creative Director back in 2015. No matter how or when you first heard the name Lisa Eldridge, the makeup fame of the London-based makeup artist is undeniable. We’ve seen her do the most complicated makeup techniques and even collaborated with Lancôme for makeup releases, but what we’ve all been waiting for—her very own beauty line—is finally happening!
The Inspiration
All the beauty line and makeup launch inspiration has been from Eldridge’s subconscious, as she stated that the product she’s releasing is the same product that appeared to her dream years ago. It was a red velvet that inspired her to actually apply the idea to a shoot. And now, she’s turning that inspiration into lipsticks that are much different from what’s currently on the market.
Lusciously Red
The three limited-edition lipsticks that will be released by Eldridge will all be in—you guessed it right—RED. The red color is directly related to Eldridge’s velvet inspiration, yet she made sure to diversify the selection within the red family. The lipstick line will offer a coral bright red called Velvet Morning, a brick red hue called Velvet Jazz, and a classic red with blue tint called Velvet Ribbon.

Not only do these lipsticks look actually good on any skin tone, but it reminds us of Eldridge’s signature crimson lip, a look we love seeing her in. So whether you love red lip products or you’re obsessed with the makeup artist’s own style, this new collection will surely have something that you’ll go crazy for. The Perfect Finish
The intense red pigmentation on these lipsticks aren’t the only ones you’ll notice about the entire line. You’ll be taken aback by the gorgeous velvet finish of all the three lipsticks, making them so luscious-looking and utterly comfortable on the lips. Lisa Eldridge herself offered tips when applying the lip products. For a vibrant-looking finish, apply the lipstick directly from the bullet, sweeping over until you covered the entirety of your lips. But for a more subtle and a stained look, you should apply the product on your fingertips and then pat on your lips.
