Description
Short for Big Punisher, Big Pun was an American hip hop artist whose album ‘Capital Punishment’ reached No. 1 on multiple R&B and hip-hop charts. A nod to the first Latino rapper to have a platinum album, Ewing Athletics partnered with the Rios family to produce two pairs of limited-edition sneakers. The second set, inspired by the Puerto Rican flag boasts a bright blue, red, and white colorways. It is embellished with larger than normal branded red tongue, adjustable back straps, white and red paint speckles on the sole, both Ewing Athletics and Big Pun branding on the upper quarter panel, and of course, the Puerto Rican flag on the back heel.

The Ewing 33 Hi x Big Pun “Big Pun” is the second conception out of Ewing Athletics’ collaboration with the family of legendary hip hop artist, Big Pun. Taking inspiration from the Puerto Rican flag, it is an artistic blend of royal blue, white, and red. Besides the eye-catching red tongue, huge adjustable straps, and Puerto Rican flag on the back heel, the nicest touch comes in with the red and white paint speckles around the sole, bringing a nice break from the overwhelming, imposing colors.
