Dunhill Edition by Dunhill Review
Dunhill Edition remains a classic even with the reformulation it went through. It is not a beast when it comes to sillage unlike its contemporaries, but what it does best and what draws us to it is the fine, meticulous way the barbershop scent is executed. The combination of citrusy, woodsy and mossy accords are smooth, spicy at first and darker the next. Despite its sophistication, Dunhill Edition is rather versatile and easy to wear. We can’t complain about the lasting power, too.

A refined, timeless barbershop scent
We like that the spiciness develops and becomes darker
Easy to wear despite being a complex scent
Can be worn on most seasons
May come off as generic when not scrutinized
Save Big At:

Dunhill Edition has a long history before today; it was created in 1984, and has been one of the most known fragrances for the house since. Alain Astori is the original perfumer for the aromatic fougere which featured nutmeg, amalfi lemon, lavender, bergamot, jasmine, clary sage, carnation, geranium, cyclamen, vetiver, fir, tonka bean, Virginia cedar and amber. The perfume remains in production but has undergone reformulation.
