The Amphora Mini is a result of Santo Domingo’s generous use of clean lines, quality materials, and functional use. Made in Italy with calf leather in a tasteful tan color, this trapezoid shaped bag is the type to look its worst at first sight because of the material’s tendency to age gracefully through use. The leather contrasts well with its ecru stitching which pretty much keeps the whole bag together. The gold-tone hardware seen minutely on the handle and cross body strap provides the same effect, not taking attention away from the bag’s unique silhouette.
Whilst both versions keep the classic trapeze shape and wide strap handle, what differentiates the Mini from its larger counterpart is its use which is heavily dictated by its size. Those looking to fit a whole plethora of items might be better off taking the regular sized Amphora because the Mini can really only house the essentials. Its compact nature is ideal for short endeavors as it amply fits one’s cellphone, wallet, lipstick, and keys.
