Nike Air More Uptempo ’96 DB Doernbecher 2017 Review
Nike Air More Uptempo '96 DB Doernbecher 2017 comes from the mind of patient Brody Miller, an aspiring comic book artist who is fighting against a rare brain condition, within the 2017 Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. To help cope with his condition, Brody dreamed up Generator Man, who is reimagined on his creation. Part of a four-piece collection, this set comes with a blue base with interesting and meaningful details, representative of Generator Man’s superpowers. For instance, the glow-in-the-dark outsole that shows ‘Be Strong’ impresses us, as well as the tiny lighting on the toe box. At a glance, BPM stands for the kid designer’s initials and the orange and yellow accents are nicely done.

Fighting a rare brain condition, Brody Miller used his condition as inspiration to design his Nike Air More Uptempo ’96 DB Doernbecher 2017. Featuring a blue color base with hints of orange and yellow, these kicks are based on the kid designer’s Generator Man, a superhero alter ego he came up with. Besides the overwhelming design and silhouette, these trainers have meaningful designs such as ‘Be Strong’ text that shows up on the glow-in-the-dark outsole, lighting embroidery on the toe box, and veiny graphic insole.
