Oh, how we love the bold and vibrant Marc Jacobs Beauty makeup products that have become staples in our collection. With attractive and high-quality makeup that’s hard to resist, indeed, the high-end beauty brand has won us over in just a span of five years.
Recently, Marc Jacobs Beauty got the world excited with the news of their spring 2019 collection coming up in February. But it was almost overshadowed by the news about the latest face that joins the Marc Jacobs Beauty: Lila Moss.
Marc Jacobs in Full-Circle
If you haven’t heard the name yet, maybe her mom’s name will ring a bell: Kate Moss. Yup, that’s right. Lila is the daughter of the supermodel that has been working with Marc Jacobs since the 1990s. It was like Marc Jacobs has gone full-circle—from the time he met 18-year old Kate and now that he worked with her daughter Lila (while Kate was in the same room, too!).
But what’s striking for the brand owner wasn’t just the common info we know about Lila, her industry famous parents (her dad is Jefferson Hack, a magazine editor), but the composure and beauty of the young lady. He also mentioned that Lila “got into each character effortlessly and gracefully.” Hmm, seems like Lila is on her way to following her mom’s footsteps, eh?
The 16-year old Star
Lila’s first ever major beauty campaign isn’t only a great thing of the beauty brand, but a marker of a great milestone for Lila herself. Turning sixteen is a great moment for every gal, and of course Lila, who resembles her mother so much, celebrated it by twinning with her mother on her birthday and then starred in the shoot for the Marc Jacobs Beauty campaign. What an eventful birthday celebration!
In the newly built Instagram account of the 16 year old, she expressed her thoughts about the campaign, saying, “It’s an honour to be the face of the new @marcbeauty campaign.”
Yaasss, girl. It sure is!
The Campaign
The sneak peak to Marc Jacobs Spring 2019 collection revealed the Fineliner ultra-skinny gel eye crayon in (grape) vine. Boldly lining the lids of Lila, the liner is just one of the limited-edition new hues that the luxury brand will debut in 2019. What’s even greater than the color options is the formula of the eyeliner: its made of a transformative gel that glides on over the lids for a seamless application. And you better be sure you’re up to wearing a bold color all day long because it stays on like glue!
What a great way to tease makeup junkies! We’re definitely keeping an eye on more sneak peeks from the label until if official global release in February 2019. We can’t wait!
