The Nike Foamposite One comes back in 2018 in an interesting colorway dubbed the “Elemental Rose”, perhaps among the sweetest and most elegant releases of the line in a long while. Nike has kept the design minimal and let the color as well as the light do all the talking. Besides the rose, the shoes also show black pops in the right places. This Foamposite One is updated with a Zoom Air unit, both full-length and on the heel, similar to the latest Air Jordans.
Pros
The silhouette is not new, and so is the colorway that can be seen as a lighter version of a Foamposite release just a few years back, but the sneakers are mesmerizing nonetheless. The “Elemental Rose” lets the construction of the shoes shine, especially since it is found all throughout. The outsole that has a translucent, icy effect adds more impact and character to the rose hue, and the kicks reflect light well, thanks in part to the wavy lines on its exterior. Even if you tend to pick up dirt easily, the Nike Air Foamposite One Elemental Rose can be a blessing in that it is easy to clean. Besides being stylish and comfortable, the shoes provide excellent support and traction.
Cons
The Nike Air Foamposite One Elemental Rose is on the more expensive side of the spectrum for sneakers, and yet the craftsmanship on the shoe is not consistent, with owners sometimes reporting substandard polishing. Besides running small and therefore rendered as non-desirable for people blessed with wide feet, the shoes are enclosed in a way that does not give much room for breathability. If you want to breeze through your walks, these are not the sneakers to go for either; they’re better if you want each step to be more pronounced.
