We’re all for anything shimmery this year, TBH. We’ve loved them during the holiday season, and we aren’t about to stop just because the holidays are over. Bite Beauty keeps us shimmer-fied with this Crystal Crème Shimmer Lip Crayon, a super pigmented lip formula that look gorgeously sparkly! It comes in 10 shades to let you pick out subtle hues of pinks and peaches, or luscious ones like a true red color. Pigment, formula, shades, and shimmer—we’re giving it a 5/5.
L’Oreal Paris Unlimited Mascara ($12.99)
L’Oreal Paris keeps on supplying us with innovative makeup products, and honestly, we want ‘em to keep coming. Good thing at the start of the year, the brand launched the Unlimited Mascara, another product developed to give a better experience to its users. The bendable wand on this mascara allows easier application, so that you can lift and lengthen those lashes without sweating it out.
Tatcha Violet-C Brightening Serum ($88)
Tatcha always comes through when it comes to taking care of our skin, and this 2019, they are getting even better. Among the first surprises of the brand to its loyal fans is this serum that was supercharged with vitamin C for effective skin transformation. This product can minimize the appearance of dark spots and give your skin a better texture. Tatcha didn’t stop there, of course—this was added with 2 forms of vitamin C plus fruit-derived AHA acids to make it ultra-effective in blurring out wrinkles and repairing UV damage.
Benefit Cosmetics Roller Liner Eyeliner ($22)
We’re such a fan of the Roller Lash Mascara, a cult fave from Benefit. With the impressive performance of the mascara, we’re pretty sure its eyeliner counterpart will be awesome. The Roller Liner Eyeliner makes the application really simple with its smooth gliding action as you draw it over your eyelids. It stays on for 24 hours with a matte finish, and it’s waterproof as well.
Ouai Treatment Masque ($32)
Tried Ouai’s Treatment Masque before? It’s great, right? Well, this January 2019, Ouai is reintroducing the awesome product in a new packaging. A lot of people requested that the hair treatment be made available in a tube, and the brand actually listened! This product retained the signature infusion of rose and cedar wood with Melrose Place Eau de Parfum scent, while still promising to keep your hair strong and nourished all year round.
Supergoop! Superscreen Daily Moisturizer SPF 40 ($38)
Supergoop! has released some of the best sun-care items throughout its existence as a luxury brand. Thankfully, they’ve released their own version of a moisturizer, and it’s SPF-infused! This product was made from reef-safe ingredients which can protect the skin from UVA/UVB rays. It’s a great product to wear daily, and in case you want to actually replace your face sunscreen with this, just remember to reapply every 2 hours to ensure you’re well-protected.
First aid Beauty Ultra Repair BarriAIR Cream ($30)
Another moisturizer that’s been upgraded to keep the skin at its best shape is the Ultra Repair BarriAIR Cream from First aid Beauty. This cream is packed with awesome ingredients, including linoleic acids, hyaluronic acid, and ceramides, making it a truly potent formula to nourish and moisturize the skin. No more dryness this 2019!
Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer ($26)
It’s like Fenty Beauty always got something to make our jaws drop. This time, they opened the year with an amazing 50-shade concealer collection. The Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer is a counterpart of the foundation from the brand that we all love, so it’s meant for a crease-proof, long-wear, and full-coverage application.
What a way to start the year, right? January did so well in the beauty releases, setting a really high benchmark for the other months ahead. We’re so excited!
