Zac Posen is no stranger to dressing celebrities, but for Fall 2019, he’s gone beyond the red carpet and actually cast famous faces for his seasonal lookbook. The likes of 90s supermodel Elaine Irwin and model and activist Halima Aden wore Posen’s structured daywear and voluminous evening gowns. Differing in both age, race, and size, the designer highlighted diversity this season and how his style can fit a whole range of women to look sophisticated and distinguished without losing their own personal flairs. Aden, for example, paired her beautifully paired her hijab with both a knitted day dress and put a modest take on a floral ball gown by donning a black turtleneck underneath. Surprisingly, there was a lot more emphasis on daywear this season as well, putting forth a delectable selection fo strict tailoring and comfy knits that are as impactful as his usual array of evening attire. It looks like Posen is not only highlighting diversity, his seeking it as a business initiative as well!
