Y’s understands that the women who buy the brand’s clothes will have their own takes on the pieces, regardless of how they designed them to look or styled them in the first places. So for Spring 2019, this designer label gave as many pieces for a woman to play with as she can get. Firstly, while black was still a dominant factor in the mix, there was also a whole lot of color rarely seen before from this company. Some pops of crimson red, hot pink, bright green, and various shades of blue were particularly eye-popping, even against such an eclectic collection. Materials were also varied this season, with a few mesh items to layer other pieces over to the presence of black and white polka-dot and floral prints that make for more interesting visual features. This season seems to have led Y’s to venture out into new fashion territories, and what this might mean to future seasons for the brand is something to keep your eyes on
