Ylang in Gold by M. Micallef Review
Wearing Ylang in Gold is akin to visiting a tropical paradise as the scent is warm and sweet, headlined by a bloom native to the tropics, ylang-ylang, and further complemented by notes of vanilla, sandalwood and coconut. The shimmer it leaves on the skin could also be compared to the bright sun. The bottle it comes in is hard to ignore, but the scent isn’t too overpowering, making it ideal for many occasions.
Gives both a smooth feeling and scent
Sweet, floral and tropical
The gold dust can be removed from skin with no fuss
Decent sillage and longevity
More expensive than fragrances with similar notes
Ylang in Gold was released in 2012 by M. Micallef with much anticipation because of the secrecy in its ingredients. It comes with sunny notes that are put together by Jean-Claude Astier and is part of the brand’s Collection Jewel.
