It’s never stressed enough how truly difficult it is to go for simplicity in fashion. Now only will designers have to worry about the quality and construction, but they also have to take on the style in a unique and interesting way that will push customers to buy their clothes. Fortunately for Yigal Azrouel, he’s mastered simplicity in more ways than one and it shows in his Pre-Fall 2019 Collection. Firstly, he focused on linear design, incorporating stripes and pleats to come up with graphic dimensions to his pieces. For instance, a long blue and white-striped shirtdress will be great for both a masculine look and, when accessorized the right way, will look good on a more feminine ensemble as well. Hardware was also a huge talking point for Azrouel this season. Although simplicity is all about no-fuss fashions, eye-catching buttons and shimmering zippers made for fascinating decorations that were both functional as well as fashionable. With such minimalist ease, this New York designer gave women an exceptionally chic wardrobe they can wear with confidence come fall.
