Dreamy isn’t a commonly used word to describe minimal brands and their simple collections, but no other adjective can do Vince‘s Fall 2019 collection justice! This season, creative director Caroline Belhumeur was inspired by Spanish sculptor Eduardo Chillida and the contrast of his sculptors against backdrops of natural wonders. And upon seeing the lookbook, we can attest that she nailed it right on the head! Everything about this luxurious line was dreamy, from the fine textiles that either held their own through the exquisite tailoring or the billowy kinds that wafted against the wind, there was a certain airiness to it that was so alluring. Not even the slight tinges to sportswear—like that bulky white hooded parka or the gentle tracksuits—made it seem too trendy. There was a timeless elegance to it that was infinitely fascinating. Then the color palette—is there any other more attractive this season? We think not! From the gentle neutral hues to the rich shades of burgundy, crimson, and lilac, there was a continuous flow that worked and felt so refreshing. We now can’t wait for fall just to marvel at all the chic women fortunate enough to buy and wear such finery on the streets!
