Versilia Platinum by Profumi del Forte Review
Description
It’s difficult not to to be fascinated by Profumi del Forte’s Versilia Platinum. Inspired by the beauty of one of Italy’s most famous rivieras, the fragrance is the product of opposites: day and night, masculine and feminine, gold and silver. The effect is overpowering, metallic even, because of the pepper mixing in with cedar. There are also hints of citrus once the scent starts to settle. Such strong impression, however, is not meant to be enjoyed by all.

From Profumi del Forte’s Versilia collection, Versilia Platinum lists bergamot, pink and black pepper, mirth, magnolia, rose, vanilla, oak moss, incense, cedar wood and patchouli as some of its notes. It was created by Arturetto Landi who was inspired by platinum, explaining the metallic scent, and was introduced in 2011.
