V76 by Vaughn Hydrating Conditioner Review
Contrary to the name, we were disappointed to find that V76 by Vaughn Hydrating Conditioner doesn’t provide us the intense hydration we were hoping for. Whilst it does make for a great sulfate, paraben, and petroleum-free hair product, as those are quite difficult to find, we think its effectivity is no better than a normal drugstore conditioner. It also really bothered us with how difficult it was to dispense the product from the bottle, most likely due to the combination of the thick consistency of the product with the poor bottle design, which made us feel like it wasn't a high end product at all. We also found that the conditioner’s sage based fragrance translated poorly to a pungent wood smell that made us feel as though someone has rubbed fresh sawdust into our hair, although we wouldn’t be surprised if other users actually find that appealing. Overall, there are probably better, more effective hair conditioners in the market with a more affordable price tag than this one.
Ease of Application
Value for Money
It is a Sulfate, Paraben, and Petroleum free hair product
Smells like saw dust
Works just like any other conditioner
Save Big At:
The V76 by Vaughn Hydrating Conditioner contains Sage Leaf Extract, meant to nourish the scalp and hair whilst providing fragrance; Chamomile, to supposedly stimulate the scalp and relieve irritation; and Vitamin E, also meant to strengthen the hair and give it shine. Aside from this product being manufactured without any Parabens, Sulfates, Petroleum, Gluten, and Mineral Oil, this conditioner is also vegan and cruelty-free and is suitable for any hair type. We wouldn’t mind recommending this product if it were priced a lot lower.
