Tyler, The Creator x Foot Locker x Chuck 70 ‘Artist Series’ Review
Description
Teaming up with American sportswear retail giant, Foot Locker, Tyler, the Creator, curated and released the ‘Artist Series’ collection, featuring the works of art by his friend, Wyatt Navarro, and Øyvind Lauvdahl, a Norwegian he discovered on Instagram. Working on the Converse 70, Navarro doodles on a cream canvas his perspectives on Los Angeles’ street art scene. Like any typical Converse shoes, it comes in a high-top cut with rubber outsole. The blue and orange stripes that run along the midsole give this creation a nice finishing touch.

The Tyler, The Creator x Foot Locker x Chuck 70 ‘Artist Series’ is a project borne out of the love for arts of American rapper, Tyler, the Creator and his collab with American retailer, Foot Locker. Tapping the creative minds of his friend, Wyatt Navarro, and Norwegian artist, Øyvind Lauvdahl, the doodles on the Converse 70 reflect the art and street culture in Los Angeles, painted on a parchment canvas, and supported by the sneakers brand’s traditional high-top cut and soles.
