One can always rely on Trina Turk to provide that vintage fashion fix of the season. And for Fall 2019, it’s all about the luxurious yet bohemian styles of the 1970s. Free-flowing maxi dresses, suede suits, and multi-colored prints reign supreme this season, as Turk veers slightly away from her usually cartoonish brand of chicness and goes for a more relaxed yet elegant vibe. Even the tailoring here, which is evidently influenced by Yves Saint Laurent, had a nonchalant edge to it that was refreshing to see, especially since other brands are now more into strict tailoring. Here, it’s all about giving women a chance to take the load off, even if they’re at work. The menswear is slightly more playful though, what with the checkered short-suits, colorful jumpers, and wildly-printed suits. While women are more relaxed, men are definitely having a gay old time! This is the sort of country-style glamour that many people appreciate nowadays, and come fall, those same ones are going to buy them all out!
