Even if you haven’t been up to date with the latest high-end fashion shows, we’re pretty sure you still heard news about 2018 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund show. A night that celebrates and encourages the best upcoming designers in the fashion scene, this night was about the competition of which designer would take home the coveted prize amounting to $400,000 and a mentorship from the best in the industry.
So naturally, all the top designers, models, fashion icons and celebrities were present to enjoy the event, especially it marking the 15th year of the annual show. And aside from the designers that showcased their talents (Pyer Moss won, by the way!), of course we’ve been on the lookout for the best beauty looks. Wanna know which ones are our favorites? Read on.
The English actress looked totally captivating with her fresh look. Looking gorgeous with her wavy blonde hair, Emily Blunt’s radiant skin shines through with a simple eye makeup and a lovely peace lip color.
Stella Maxwell’s smoky eye makeup perfectly complemented her blue eyes. We’re loving her choice of neutral matte lips, the proper balance of sophistication and glam without going overboard.
Choosing a bold eyeliner look, Georgia Fowler amped up her lady-boss look with a neat updo. But despite the loud statement on her eyelids, she kept her lips on the down low.
Laura Love’s dreamy eyes were kept pure with very minimal makeup. Her lips though, tell a different story. The sweet light mauve shade of her lipstick definitely stands out. And in our opinion, it pairs well with her chic two-piece outfit.
Renée Elise Goldsberry
It’s easy to spot the queen on Ebonee Davis’s beauty look: her naturally gorgeous Afro hair. We love the glitter swept across her eyelids that totally brightens her look complemented well by the simple lip gloss used for her perfect lips.
Showcasing the beauty of her Tanya Taylor frock, Sara Paxton wore an ethereally chic makeup look. We adore the cherry shade painted on her lips, a gorgeous color for her beautiful face.
Well of course, we’ve seen some of the best beauty looks on the runway as well! Going for the fierce look, makeup artist Jen Myles opted for either bare or dark lips with cool-hued bold eye flicks for winner Pyer Moss. For Luar’s iridescent wigs, Myles chose to embrace the avant-garde theme and kept the looks focused on the porcelain-looking skin of the models. Lastly, among our favorites was Scosha’s makeup look, composed of captivating gold leaf added into the inner corner of the models’ eyes to complete the intricate elegance of the foliage-covered branches added to their crowns.
