There’s something cool about going old-school, at least for Tommy Hilfiger. The American designer presented an all-too familiar look for his spring 2019 menswear collection: a touch of nautical. This time however, the touch isn’t as classic as one might expect. This isn’t just navy blue and white stripes, but a barrage of brightly-colored pieces that are fit for any occasion. Board shorts and nylon parkas took over the scene, as well as a number of logo-ed bucket hats to really seal the nautical aesthetic. And speaking of logos, it looks like Hilfiger is one of very few designers who are still elevating this trend. His famous fame was splattered all over oversized sweaters, fitted jackets, sneakers, and more! Part of what makes this collection prominent is that a few pieces are said to be part of the label’s collaboration with race car driver Lewis Hamilton. And if this collection is any indication of things to come, there’s reason for retailers to be very excited!
