The Fragrance by Coach Review
Description
The Fragrance is just like Coach’s popular handbags: beautifully made, feminine and classy. It is floral and sweet, the strength mostly felt on the opening of pear, pink pepper and raspberry leaves. But unlike Coach’s bags, the scent does not feel particularly unique and can suffer from being too sweet. Despite those, the Fragrance is a great candidate for everyday wear and is worn best on spring days.

The year 2016 is not the first to see the Fragrance by Coach because there is already a scent bearing its name released in 2007. The more recent Fragrance distinguishes itself from the latter though through its beautiful bottle and entirely new composition of notes. Formulated by the duo of Juliette Karagueuzoglou and Anne Flipo, the Fragrance and its notes of pink pepper, raspberry leaves, pear, gardenia, Turkish rose, cyclamen, suede musk and sandalwood have traits that represent New York. Stuart Vevers, creative director of Coach, says that the Fragrance is also a symbol of the brand’s free spirit, and has hired actress and model Chloë Grace Moretz as the face for the Fragrance.
