The Art of Shaving Sandalwood Shaving Cream continues to be the brand’s best seller with its signature lustrous lather and surprisingly crowd pleasing Sandalwood scent. We find that this product whips up very easily and successfully protects us from razor burns whilst providing us with a close shave. The Sandalwood scent is also very reminiscent of an old barbershop, but in a nostalgic way. This product works best with a shaving brush, as we imagine whipping it up and applying it without one to be quite difficult. We were however a bit turned off by the price, even though a jar can supposedly last for a couple of months, but that really depends on how often you shave and how much cream you end up using. Whilst this product seems like a great addition to any shave, there are many who claim that the product’s formula has been recently altered. This may, however, be on the resellers’ end as many customers have found their recent purchases to be unscented, dried out or thicker than usual, so be wary.
