Temperley London Spring Summer 2019 Ready-to-Wear Collection

Alice Temperley sent forth a final hurrah in London Fashion Week as she plans to distance herself from the hectic fashion month schedule and exert all of her efforts to resort and pre-fall. This might be the last show Temperley London will have in years, maybe even ever, and what a spectacular extravaganza it was. She pulled out all the stops, putting forth a barrage of ladylike looks worn by prominent A-listers such as Olga Kurylenko, Laura Bailey, Game of Thrones’ star Nathalie Emmanuel, and supermodel Arizona Muse. If you think her resort 2019 collection was an ode to femininity, this show was a celebration. Underwater pastels of mint and coral provided a delicate and clean touch to the billowy dresses and softly tailored separates. Arguably, the star of the show was a shimmering bathrobe-like sequined coat that looked as if it came from the depths of the crystal-blue seas. It was a magical collection, which made the it all the more bittersweet as it proved how show-stopping Alice Temperley’s works are and how she’ll be severely missed during Fashion Month.
