Tea for Two by L’Artisan Parfumeur Review
Description
Tea for Two is not the complex fragrance that it sounds. We find this to be very linear, but not in a way that would have us inspired. It is sweet due to the honey and it is spicy owing to the ginger and cinnamon, but despite the presence of these the fragrance does not capture one’s imagination. Still, Tea for Two passes as a decent enough fragrance that can be worn everyday to work; it’s just difficult for us not to expect more given the scent’s price.

Positives
We think that its subtlety makes it easy to wear
The sweetness of the honey makes the spiciness of the ginger more tolerable
Ideal for spring or for wear on your way to work
Negatives
We find that the fragrance lacks complexity
The notes fall flat for most of it
Longevity is a pity

There is no doubting that lovers of tea would find L’Artisan Parfumeur’s Tea for Two intriguing. The scent, released by the French perfume house in 2000, was created by perfumer Olivia Giacobetti. The hints of the aromatic and the spicy are spread throughout its notes. Some of the accords include tea, bergamot, star anise, cinnamon, spices, ginger, gingerbread, honey, tobacco, leather and vanilla.
