Jaclyn Hill’s fame on Youtube has allowed her to spread Becca’s name into her over 4 million subscribers. It just took a video of the beauty guru featuring the Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Opal to make it skyrocket in sales and result to the Youtuber’s collaboration with the luxury makeup brand. The Becca x Jaclyn Hill collaboration for the Champagne Pop Highlighter has been so successful that it got a total of 25,000 unit sales in Sephora alone. And until when did it re-appear in the market? Well, let’s just say it stayed for good!

The Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Champagne Pop can be purchased as part of Becca’s permanent collection.

We already know it—Pat McGrath is one hell of a legendary makeup artist that we know it’s easy to get hooked with her brand and its collections. Part of her usual releases include makeup that she uses for gorgeous makeup looks, and often, they are limited-edition. So when Pat McGrath Labs launched the Dark Star 006 in 2017, it had been a fast sold-out. The kit has the complete colors and perfect pigmentation to achieve the best smoky eye look, and it wasn’t even a wonder why its stock emptied really quickly. Good thing, Pat McGrath Labs heard the requests of its fans and re-released the kit on that same year as part of the makeup artist’s “personal vault” that the public can purchase.

If you weren’t able to try out the Dark Star 006 Eye Kit, you can try some palettes that are quite similar to it:

Pat McGrath Labs Mthrshp Subliminal Platinum Bronze Eyeshadow Palette ($55)
Pat McGrath Labs Mothership I Eyeshadow Palette – Subliminal ($125)

Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder Collection

Once you knew a brand collection that features Victoria Beckham, you know instantly that it will be hit. Estee Lauder knew that effect of the former Spice Girl when they collaborated with her to bring into the market the Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder Collection. Featuring four groups named after the star’s favorite cities, New York, Los Angeles, London and Paris, the collection contains a gorgeous set of eyeshadows coupled with lips products, bronzer and highlighter. The success of the first release of the collection prompted the Estee Lauder to release it again after a few months, throwing in new stuff like new shades of bronzer and lipstick. Another breakthrough sales of that collection led to a continued partnership between Beckham and the luxury brand, later on releasing a new collection for Autumn the following year.

To get the same look that Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder Collection can give you, try out these items:

Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder in Bronze 01 ($42)
Urban Decay Heavy Metals Eyeshadow Palette (Ground) ($55)

M.A.C. Selena Makeup Collection

You know how much a pop star can bring into beauty sales when you know about how MAC’s Selena Quintanilla collection created a frenzy among makeup junkies and the late singer’s fans alike. Deemed as the largest launch of the beauty brand throughout its years of existence, the 2016 release of the M.A.C. Selena Makeup Collection made fans line up for hours and hours just to get a hold of the collection composed of a total of 14 makeup pieces. It was an answer to the pleading of the late Tejano singer’s fans for a collection to commemorate the iconic artist, and after it got sold out during the first release, M.A.C. once again heard the fans’ requests and released it again two months later.

If you didn’t get the chance to get the collection for yourself, you can purchase these lipsticks that can replace the Como la Flor and Dreaming of You lipsticks:

M.A.C. Red ($18.50)
M.A.C. Diva ($18.50)

It’s so hard to say bye-bye to some awesome collections that we just get a taste of for a few weeks or months. Good thing, some brands hear these woes and respond with a re-launch to give us one more chance. So when you miss a chance to get a highly coveted collection or item, try to let the brand know that you want to have another go at it. Maybe—just maybe—they grant your wish and resurrect the limited edition items like the ones we featured here!
