Tailored sportswear may be an anomaly in fashion, but it’s not impossible. In fact, such looks were the highlights of Sportmax’s latest collection! These days, both sportswear and tailoring are the biggest trends both on and off the runway, with the latter coming out slightly stronger. By combing the two, the Milanese brand was able to play into the biggest talking points of the season with almost an effortless rigor. Their Fall 2019 show was a feast of highly stylized streetwear constructed with expert tailoring and luscious fabrications. See the slightly shimmering nylon suits and frocks engineered to form such flattering silhouettes enveloping the female figure. Leather skirts and outerwear, on the other hand, evoked a slightly sophisticated tinge of sex appeal despite all the sportiness. While the standard tailored suits gave off such distinguished forms, you’d think they were haute couture. Alas, they were from Sportmax, a vastly underrated label that just gave one of the most praise-worthy offerings this season!
