Sentiment for Men by Escada Review
Description
Sentiment for Men is uninspiring despite the promising notes it lists. The synthetic quality of the accords are jarring, especially when it comes to its zesty and green ingredients. To us, it was also hard to enjoy the confusing mix of sweet, citric and metallic qualities of the fragrance. The drydown offers a temporary retreat, but it is boring at best and uninspired at its worst. What can we say, Sentiment for Men is an immediate scrub.

Positives
Fresh owing to the citrus and green notes
Decent enough staying power
Negatives
Does not seem to take on a clear direction, just a mishmash of notes
Many of the notes smell artificial
The peppery drydown feels boring and ordinary
We find the sillage and projection to be disappointing as it is soft and limited

Escada added Sentiment for Men to its roster of fragrances in 2002. Signed by both Laurent Bruyere and Dominique Ropion, it is categorized as a woodsy aromatic masculine fragrance. The top notes are juniper berries and lime, while pink pepper and nutmeg make up the heart. At its base are cedar, sandalwood and vetiver.
