Minimalism is still very much at the forefront of many designers’ minds, including Ryan Roche. In her latest show for Fall 2019, she approached this simplistic attitude with an ethereal spirit that was nothing short of breathtaking. This wasn’t the sort of minimalism that Phoebe Philo‘s Celine resurrected almost a decade ago—Roche’s kind is a lot more romantic, both for men and women. Her flurry of floaty frocks in soft silks and shimmering satins provided a tinge of tenderness that was excitingly beautiful. In contrast to her more tailored suits in the line, they were refreshing too! As was the palette: classic neutrals with pops of crimson, mustard yellow, and powdery mint. Though most looks were monochromatic, we imagine if people were to mix these pieces together, they’d still look as heavenly. They’d definitely make for great couple’s outfits come fall, we guarantee it!
