Rose des Vents by Louis Vuitton Review
Rose des Vents is just like a dream to us, although one that is filled with different kinds of roses (there are three on the fragrance). It does not smell old-fashioned unlike others with a similar profile, but instead is sophisticated with its depth and rawness that comes off as slightly green. Even though it vanishes to a very light scent by the end, we still find it charming. Thankfully, we have almost the rest of the day to take a whiff; Rose des Vents has excellent wear time.
We find this to be more elevated than other rose fragrances
Very sensual, feminine and charming
The natural-smelling drydown sustains the loveliness from the opening and heart
Comes with a hefty price tag
Save Big At:
French actress Léa Seydoux fronted the ad campaigns for a set of new fragrances for Louis Vuitton back in 2016, which includes Rose des Vents. It is a floral composition, highlighting not one but three kinds of roses, including the May rose grown especially in Grasse. Other notes include iris, spices and cedar. The scent was designed by Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud.
