One can never go wrong with classic staples, and for his Pre-Fall 2019 Collection, Robert Rodriguez chose to highlight such. This time, however, he added a few interesting tweaks of his own. See the blue trench coat, for example, which is your standard outerwear silhouette complete with lapels, snaps for fastening, and a slightly oversized shape. But it’s the unique fabrication—a lapis blue plastic-like pleather—which makes it all the more fascinating and fashion forward. The same goes with a little burgundy leather dress whose sleeves are sort of Victorian-like in construction. Not to mention the cream-colored shirt dress with a round collar and elongated butterfly sleeves. Such elements make these borderline basic pieces all the more desirable and interesting. And in these busy times, these are just the right kind of clothes women want in their wardrobes.
