The sportswear Robert Geller presented on his runway this season was designed not just for sports and streetwear aesthetics. Here, he has landing on the moon in his mind, which is probably why he opened the show with a few pieces with the astronomical body printed all over. Although astronauts wearing these items on the moon is a far-fetched dream, there was still something cosmic about his Fall 2019 show. Possibly, it was the fact that most of his vividly-hued pieces were thought to be impossible—simialrly to landing on the moon. Nylon outerwear and wooly knits were dyed in such electric shades—and so even too—that they all looked masterful. A softly tailored highlighter pink suit was simply out of this world, as was the neon lime anorak in glimmering nylon. Of course, another stand-out was the footwear: collaborative sneakers with Common Projects. They were the best “cherry on top” for a collection that was willing to reach new heights! They may not ever get to see the moon itself, but these clothes will still look stunning on the street!
