Quasar by O Boticário Review
Description
You may encounter Quasar by O Boticário as an alternative to Davidoff’s Cool Water, but it has long been worn by young Brazilian men. It is fresh and cool, just like the aforementioned influential fragrance, as well as wearable, if you’re not put off by the fact that it is not especially remarkable. We found ourselves trying to get away from the scent because of its sharpness and synthetic quality. Thankfully, it only has the longevity of your typical cheap eau de toilette.

Positives
Cool and fresh
Gains compliments from the ladies
Very easy to wear
Negatives
Often considered a clone of Cool Water, so not very original
We feel that it lacks enough kick in both sillage and staying power
Smells very synthetic
More of a younger scent

Quasar by O Boticário has long been sold in Brazil, but for those interested in getting a bottle, it is usually available in 70 ml as an eau de toilette. It is made with a combination of spices, fruits, musk, patchouli and moss. This is easy to wear, like the other fragrances that smell similar to it, so spritz with gusto.
